Online Fall Prevention Workshop for Kristen Wiley
Has the fear of falling affected your enjoyment of daily activities or put limits on your mobility? Do you have vertigo episodes that have you reeling?
Especially as we get older, physical changes and health conditions — and sometimes the medications used to treat those conditions — make falls more likely. In fact, falls are a leading cause of injury among older adults.
And regardless of age, falling during sports or just daily life can lead to injury.
There is help! In this workshop, you’ll learn exercises that focus on three systems that reduce your risk of falling and vertigo episodes.
Visual Training
Vestibular work (inner ear)
Proprioceptive Training (awareness of your body’s position or movement)
